How do I join Solixta Better Business Network?
Go back to the index page and click the SIGN UP HERE image. Then enter your first name, last name, preferred username, password, and primary email address. The email addressyou enter will never be shared with anybody.
A welcome email will be sent to you. Login to the site. You will find that the site is asking for an 'enabling' code. If you check your email, you will have received it in the welcome message. Paste it into the box in the site, and click on the 'Enable' button.
Once your account is enabled, you can edit your profile, and fill out everything you might wish people to find out about you - from this point on you are a member and will appear in the front page and in searches!


How can I upgrade to Pro member?
In the backoffice you will find the Upgrade Account link, just click the link and follow the instructions.


What payment processors do you accept?
We accept Paypal, E-Gold, eBullion and Moneybookers. You can make a subscription but also a single payment in case 1.) your payment processor do not facilitate subscriptions and 2.) your Paypal account is not secured by a credit card. If you to prefer to pay by bank transfer (min. $50.00) please contact admin@solixta.com.


As a free member do I have access to everything?
No, there are features only available to PRO members: Free advertising valued at $20.00 per month / Personal blog / Solixta Cash Support / PRO member gifts as well as a few other features.


How do I put a picture in my profile?
Click the 'Edit My Profile' link in your backoffice The top part of the page shows a form for posting your picture to the site. You can upload JPG and GIF image files, for the best result the size of the image should be square and maximum 100 pixels high and 100 pixels wide.


Do I have to use a picture of myself?
We strongly recommend you use a picture of yourself but you are allowed to use a logo or banner as long as it is not of offending nature.


How does the 'Message Centre' work?
In order to keep your real email address private, the Solixta Better Business Network website has it's own internal messaging system. When you send a message to somebody within the site via the link on their user profile, the message goes into their 'InBox', and an email notification is sent to their private 'real' email address that you have sent them a message. Privacy is a concern to many people and it is up to YOU what information should be made public.


What's the difference between the 'Public' and 'Private' E-Mail Addresses?
The private email address is used by the website to send you notification emails, and to prove thatyou are who you say you are (remember the site sends an enabling code to the private email address). If you change the private email address in your profile, your account will disable itself - and you'll have to send the enabling code out again via the link that appears when this happens. Your 'Public' email address is entirely optional, as it will appear in your profile. You don't have to give out your email address to the visitors to the website if you don't want to. It's worth pointing out that only members can see contact each other...


Does Solixta Better Business Network have 'Terms and Conditions' of use?
Yes. Solixta Better Business Network has a thorough Terms and Conditions agreement that all members and visitors to the site must abide by. This was put in place to protect members of the website from those that might abuse the facilities provided - if you scroll down a little you will see a link to the 'Terms and Conditions'.
